In a move to create awareness that safety is everyone’s responsibility, the Sunway Group in partnership with the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) organised a Safety and Security Campaign throughout the month of August. The campaign in conjunction with crime prevention month aimed to expose students of the Sunway Education Group, staff of all the business units under the Sunway Group and the Sunway community in general on various and current threat scenarios.

Sunway University was the last stop in the United Against Crime campaign in Bandar Sunway. The day kicked off with three talks on crime prevention and awareness, safety tips, and the dangers of drug abuse by members of the MCPF, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Foo Chek Seng of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Abdul Razak Ngalami of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK) and Ignatius Wong Pak Luen.
