Maths Wizards Come Out Tops in Sunway College A-Level Maths & Logic National Challenge

In an intriguing competition which tested participants’ ability to think mathematically and laterally, Sunway College hopes to be a catalyst in helping to promote excellence in mathematics amongst secondary school students.

“Mathematics is known to be a fundamental part of human thoughts and logic, and integral to attempts at understanding the world and ourselves. Mathematics provides an effective way of building mental discipline and encourages logical reasoning and clear thinking. It is important and interesting in itself, that it also plays a crucial role in understanding the contents of other school subjects such as science, social studies, and even music and art”, said Elizabeth Lee, Senior Executive Director of Sunway Education Group.
