He shared his experience of applications and interviews with the top universities which were mainly arranged during the AS examinations period. “I think they want to make sure that we are able to apply what we’ve learnt from our subjects immediately into use at anywhere and anytime. I was having Mathematics paper before I went to the interview with Cambridge. And I think Sunway College has prepared us well in this by developing our interest in our studies and making sure that we understand and master the subjects,” said Danial who was also the president of A Level Student Council.

He was grateful to have chosen the right pre-university programme with the right college. “I chose Sunway because of its safe and conducive learning environment and its strong records of producing good A-level results. My mentor, Kingsley was also my referee in all my university applications,” said Tan.

The celebration also saw many proud parents sharing their children’s joy. Lim Hoi Sin and How Geok Chin, parents of Lim Jin Chyuan, who scored straight A*s in Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Mathematics, were pleased to have entrusted his son with Sunway. “Not only my son was hardworking, the lecturers too were diligent as they gave all rounded support to my son, which I believe are key factors to his great results,” said How.

  2. Yeah those days, this A level tea party of Sunway college got so much attention. It was truly an amazing event. The performances were heart throbbing. Now our college is also going to organize an outdoor event and I have got the responsibility to rent a space for an event. I wonder if anyone can help me by sharing some venue suggestions!
