Sunway College MUFY Games Day

Starting bright and early, students from the Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) programme at Sunway College actively participated in a variety of sports and games in conjunction with MUFY Games.

Held simultaneously at Monash University Sports Centre, Sunway Pyramid Mega Lanes and Sunway College, MUFY students engaged in bowling, badminton, basketball, captain ball, tele-match, futsal, table tennis, blitz chess, taboo and "win, lose or draw".

The annual student-led event is aimed to provide students opportunities to participate in various sports, and at the same time get to know their peers better. Their participation is hoped to help them lead healthier and more active lifestyles whilst they learn additional skills such as communication and team work. Events such as this too help students identify and nurture their talents.

Lee Thye Cheong, Director of MUFY took the opportunity to thank all who participated in the MUFY Games and congratulated the winners of each game. He also commended all participants for the great display of sportsmanship and camaraderie. MUFY Games 2016 officially end on a high note with prizes awarded to the winners.
