He also said that what we need in the civil service of the future, the private sector of the future are people who have a high degree of accountability, a high degree of ethical behaviour, a high degree of responsibility for this country and the job that they do as professional accountants is to ensure future generations will be better. They must remember that they carry a responsibility and because of their professionalism they have to maintain a reputation and maintain their credibility at all times.
The ceremony also honoured students that achieved outstanding results in exams. 10 students were presented with Appreciation Award for ACCA World and Malaysian Prize Winners. Top student Johnny Ho Chan Wee earned the title of Top ACCA Affiliate in Malaysia when he achieved second place ranking in the December 2014 final exam by claiming the Silver Medal Award. Teo Ee Sing in his speech said he is very proud of Hui Linn and her achievements, despite all that she has gone through, she passed all the ACCA papers in her first attempt. He cites that if Hui Linn can do it, the majority has no reason not to do well in the ACCA examinations. With her perseverance and her determination, Hui Linn proves to be a role model to all.
The ceremony was attended by more than 800 parents, lecturers and invited guests.
